Future Prospect of Diesel Exhaust Emission

2021-07

The transportation industry is one of the main emission sources of air pollutants. Although the emission reduction effect of the transportation industry is remarkable in the past decade, the emission of nitrogen oxides still accounts for a large proportion. As far as the emission of nitrogen oxides is concerned, the emission of the transportation industry accounts for 46% of the total emission of the 28 EU countries, and the emission of diesel vehicles accounts for 80% of the total emission of the whole transportation industry, so it has become the key target of the government’s emission reduction policy.

In order to deal with the serious exhaust emissions, a more comprehensive exhaust treatment system is needed to reduce the emissions of harmful substances from diesel engines (DOC: diesel oxidation catalyst, PDF: diesel particulate filter, SCR: selective catalytic reduction, LNT: adsorption catalytic reduction system).

We have been working hard for clean air. We believe that in the near future, we will find a new way of environmental protection, which is equivalent to “clean new energy” and “simultaneous purification of nitrogen oxides and particulate matter in the cylinder”, and fundamentally curb the emergence of polluted exhaust gas!
